CONNECTIONS

These pieces represent a body of work from “Connections” – a collaboration of three female artists: Patrice Cooley, Robyn MacNair, and myself. Each artist approaches the creative process in a different way, yet the collective work echoes the common theme of connecting. I experimented with ways to construct the art pieces so that they showed a physical connection and then looked at ways to imbed text, images, and artifacts to communicate a deeper meaning, thereby making a connection to the intent of the work.
